Here are some tips:

• Visually inspect the turf and check for areas that appear to be heat stressed. The blades of grass will be curled up or folded giving the area a sort of hazy or grayish appearance.
• If you find areas that are heat stressed, check the irrigation clock for irregularities in timing or duration that would affect the areas
• Run the system, checking each zone for proper coverage.
• If you see water bubbling and suspect a head is not "popping up" try removing some grass from around the head.
• If you suspect a drop in pressure at some point in the line, look for a break in the line just before the apparent drop.
• Remember nozzles put out more water than rotors. Generally rotors require about 45 min/zone while nozzles about 25min/zone.
• A common sense approach to watering is best, if the grass appears dull and folded in length, increase the occurrence or duration. One extra occurrence works best if possible.
• Ornamentals generally need much less water than turf, (especially if they are already established) so adjust accordingly.
• While increased amounts of water can help the turf propagate better, less water will cause the roots to go deeper in search of moisture and the deeper the roots, the healthier the plant. So monitoring your irrigation regularly is best.

Also, we now have a highly effective mosquito program. We use two approaches to give better control. First, we use a backpack mister to treat the property with nature-cide. An all-natural insecticide to knock down the mosquitos. The second part of the program is the in 2 care system. It uses the female mosquito to transmit larvicide to the areas she lays eggs.
